ABOUT YAATRIGAN

Not information. A decision layer.

YaatriGan exists because planning an Indian railway journey gets hard exactly where an ordinary train search stops: uncertainty, waitlist types, quotas, delay behaviour and connections.

The problem is not finding trains.

Travellers already have timetables, booking portals, availability checks and prediction apps. The hard part is combining all of that into one decision: which journey should I actually take, if what I really want is to reach safely, reach faster, spend less, or avoid a connection that is going to let me down?

The traveller should not need railway expertise.

Knowing that RLWL is not GNWL, recognising which of a city’s four stations is the useful one, checking whether you qualify for the Ladies or senior quota, working out whether 40 minutes at Mughalsarai is enough, spotting a special train that only runs this month — none of that should take fifteen tabs and a railway forum.

Our product sentence:
“Bas batao kahan pahunchna hai. Planning YaatriGan karega.”

One request → complete plan.

You give us a journey. We work out the routes worth considering, check what is currently true about seats, fares, waitlists and quotas, look at how those trains have actually been running, test whether each connection survives that behaviour, and simulate the entire journey ten thousand times. What comes back is a ranked plan with the reasoning attached — not a list you still have to interpret.

What we want the product to feel like.

  • Simple, even though the railway underneath it is not.
  • Specific — a real answer about your train, not generic AI language.
  • Honest about what is known, estimated, simulated or unknown.
  • Useful before impressive.
  • Indian in context, without looking like a government portal.
